How to Build Confidence In Your Brand

What happens when you don't feel confident in your brand? A lot can happen. You can feel overwhelmed. Not think what you have to offer is good enough. Not tell anyone about it and hoping someone stumbles across it online. You may not even try to sell your products or services at all.

How you feel about your brand matters. You are the captain of leading it where it will go. So if you are excited about it likely others will be too. If you feel meh about your brand then others will too. How you feel about your brand affects how you make decisions around it as well.

You put so much time and effort into your business and the brand of it, so how can one lose confidence in it. I find the answer to be when it's time to make it connect with your ideal client. That can be hard to do for some. Some people find it easy to connect with their ideal clients, and others not so much. One thing to remember today when selling to your ideal client is to go beyond the look of the brand but dig into the feeling of it too.

It's the truth. You can have a brilliant brand identity created for your brand to market your offer. But if you don't feel confident in your brand, that's not enough to make you promote it and do it well. Thus affecting how you speak to your audience through your various touchpoints like social media, website, and printed marketing material.

What can also make you not have confidence in your brand is a lack of understanding. Not understanding how or what will make your brand connect with your ideal client. Not understanding that your brand cannot only be about you, but it must primarily be about them. The idea client. The fact is you make money by selling to other people, people who need your product or services. What those people feel, think, go through, and etc so it should matter to you and how your brand feels to them. That's what I help my clients do is by bridging the gap between their brand and their customers. That's my goal as a brand strategist and designer. However, if you cannot afford one at this time there are plenty of resources out there you can research on how to make that connection. It's well worth the effort to look into this if you are trying to build confidence in your brand and also can help others to have confidence in your brand as well.

A few things that can help you feel confident in your brand is understanding and being able to clearly explain the following points below. Think about each one and try to write down what you want your ideal client to know about each part and how you would explain it to them. This can be used in your messaging when promoting your brand.

  1. Your Why

  2. How You Do It

  3. What You Offer

  4. Who It's For (*tip it can't be for everyone)

Doing this exercise can help you know start to know how to connect your brand to your ideal customer better. May help you confidently present your offer to them.
