Digital Graphic Designer - Manage all digital, web-based communications for SOBEWFF® 2020
This past year I gained the opportunity to be apart of the creative team for the 2020 year of the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One. SOBEWFF® event took place on February 19-23, 2020. All of its proceeds from the festival benefit the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. This is a massive event with celebrity chefs and thousands of people attending.
The festival hired my branding and visual design business, Brittani M Design, to be the Digital Graphic Designer for their branding needs. I manage all digital, web-based communications for SOBEWFF® 2020. This included creating graphics for general and event-specific social media packages/promo materials, web banners and graphics, billboards, and any other promotional graphics that can be seen on screen by potential attendees. Also, I assisted with signage/printed materials at peak times. I enjoyed being able to create a custom pattern with the festival logos for headwear for the chefs and volunteers! Along with designing custom invites for special private events. Any graphic work I did keep all visual elements on-brand for the festival.
Enjoying The SOBEWFF® 2020 Event!
I remember when I saw the opportunity to work with SOBEWFF® online. So happy I took the chance to work with them and to see all the great work they are doing. Even to this day! It was a privilege to attend the SOBEWFF® this year and see all the hard work so many teams put in for this multiday event full of the best food and wine I've ever tasted!
This organization is awesome. SOBEWFF® & FIU Chaplin School Hospitality Industry created a Relief Fund to provide immediate financial support to independently owned and operated restaurants and bars impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. You can find out more information here.
