Do you have these 10 brand touchpoints?

Touchpoint is a term being thrown around a lot lately, and many may not how they can affect their business and their ideal client.

Here is the best definition I've seen to describe what a touchpoint is, "Any place where people encounter a brand, including product use, packaging, advertising, websites, movies, store environments, company employees, and conversation.” (Excerpt From: Marty Neumeier. “BRAND A-Z.” Apple Books. ")

The brand experiences your ideal client goes way beyond the logo of your brand. They may be introduced to your brand when they see your logo. However, how will they go past an introduction to a relationship with your brand? One way is to try staying top-of-mind through your touchpoints with your ideal client. There are many touchpoints that can be used to engage with your ideal clients. Today I wanted to share at least the Top 10 touchpoints every business should have for your ideal client to encounter your brand. To make it easier for them to find you and build more brand awareness as well.

Top 10 touchpoints any business can have:

  • Founding Story

  • Elevator Pitch

  • Logo (Trademark)

  • Website

  • Business Cards

  • Social Media

  • Testimonials

  • Newsletters

  • Demo Offer

  • Freebie

Just like dating it can take some time for your ideal client to build trust in your brand and want to invest their time and resources into it. It is said it can take between 5 and 20 touchpoints for someone to invest in a brand.

Also, your brand needs to be seen on different touchpoints at least 20+ times before someone can take an interest. Which means you have to show up where they are with your different touchpoints. I'm not gonna lie it is work, but as the saying goes "nothing worth having comes easy". If you have these touchpoints and work them the more likely your ideal client will be able to see your brand and start to build trust into it that can lead them into investing more then just a look at your logo but go from an ideal client to an actual client.
