Is It You or Is It Them?

When you have a great product or service but no one is checking for it. Where’s the disconnect?

This past week I went to a local networking event. (A great way to meet potential clients or create relationships with brands by the way). Made some great connections and had conversations with different business owners. There’s always something new to learn that can be insightful for your business, it was for sure that way for me.

Anyway, usually at these networking events, everyone is looking to see how they can improve something in their business or skills. Some of the conversations I had was around improving sales of the product or services. I shared that over time during consultations and working with other brands, that usually a common cause of sales not increasing is not identifying what’s the disconnect between the customer and the product service.

Usually, the product or service itself is great, the bomb, nothing wrong with it, and can be really useful in someone’s life. However, it could be everything else surrounding how it’s communicated or comes across it is the issue. Knowing what the barriers are between your product and service is the perfect fit for your customers requires some deep investigation. Then you’ll know what to exactly address and what actions to take to fix the disconnection in your sales.
