The Authenticity of Rihanna Brand Shines Bright

Let's talk about the authenticity of Rihanna after the halftime performance she held on her own!

I'm compelled to say something, not just because I'm married to a Barbadian myself, but seeing how everyone is inspired by what she did besides her performance is eye-opening. Everyone is taking notes on how she worked her brand and didn't try to conform in some way that people are used it seeing.

She showed up as her present self at the moment. A pregnant mother isn't abnormal, but she's leading by example that it's the norm to see a pregnant mother who is a giant in her field can still get the job done, on a major platform!

It's been done by other high-profile performers as well, but it's being noticed in a different way I feel because she's an entrepreneur as well. To the point within 24 hours, I've seen so many women posting and writing about feeling empowered by the control they want to have in their brands. It's really a joy to see from my POV.

Also, the way she worked all her touchpoints for her brand in connection with the halftime show, I feel there should be courses about how what was done and the impacts of it. I've always admired how she developed her brand for her beauty line online.

Then to see the work she (and her amazing team) put into it over a period of time allowed everyone to notice that small moment when she checked her makeup. That moment spoke VOLUMES! You didn't need to see the logo, a line of products on the stage, etc to know it was Fenty Beauty.

So many brands want that effect from just being known. But trust and believe, to get this impact it took years of crafting her brand identity because not all high-profile celebrity makeup brands (or products) have the same attraction as her brand does.
